So often women and black culture are over-sexualized by society. This painting was inspired by that fact, and the outfit/wire bra is representative of Caribbean culture (specifically Carnival). We tell our female identifying friends and family to protect themselves, dress a certain way, and go certain places etc. What we need to do is educate the rest.
